Why do cats love boxes so much?

According to research, cats feel partly less stressed when they play with a box. They also interact more quickly with humans and adapt easily to their new environment.

However, it can happen that cats simply seek pleasure by being in a box. As a general rule, this small domestic tiger likes to hide from its predators. Hence its instinctive behavior to sneak into a cardboard box or a box as soon as it sees one.
