Cat Cans

Canned food, or wet cat food, contains nearly 80% water, compared to 10% for kibble. For equivalent nutritional value, the amount of food consumed by the animal is higher with canned food than with kibble. The cat therefore has a greater appetite when eating pâté. This diet is particularly rich in animal protein such as turkey, tuna, chicken, and so on, and especially low in carbohydrates.

Although canned cat food is wet food, it is always important to provide the animal with a bowl of fresh water.
