HUNTER Collar Porto Dark Brown/Cognac is a dog collar. A pleasantly scented syrup is produced from the leaves of Mediterranean olive trees, a byproduct of olive cultivation. This serves as the sole tanning agent for the robust cowhide leather of the PORTO series.

The patented production of the wet-green® OBE tanning agent is particularly gentle on people, animals, and the environment thanks to renewable raw materials. The tanning agent has received the Dermatest Very Good label, the Cradle to Cradle Gold certificate, and the Material Health Platinum certificate. The so-called Olive Leather® embodies the luxury of an ecologically sustainable lifestyle. The simple design of the collar emphasizes the unique character of the leather.

Thanks to its double-folded finish, PORTO fits almost imperceptibly around the dog's neck, like a second skin. The soft edges created by turning the leather are gentle on your four-legged friend's skin and coat. Measurement Guide

Ideally, measure the dog's neck circumference (A) with a flexible measuring tape placed around the middle of the neck. The measuring tape should be snug, but not restrict the dog. There should be about a finger's width of space between the measuring tape and the dog. The adjustment information for our collars typically overlaps slightly. This ensures that you don't necessarily need to use the first or last hole for an optimal fit.

If the neck circumference is at the upper end of the indicated measurements, you can also choose the next size up. This is especially recommended for growing dogs. Collar sizes (e.g., size 30) refer to the total length of the material used, without considering the buckle or pin closure. Regarding adjustment options, please note that the first value refers to the smallest adjustment option and the second value refers to the largest adjustment option.

Tips

When it comes to leather care, the following is always highly recommended: "Less is more." Most leathers are already greased and only require minimal greasing. A leather care oil or light leather grease (e.g., from HUNTER) is ideal for this. If the product has become wet or damp, it is not advisable to dry the material quickly, for example, on a radiator.

Blotting and slow drying will help maintain the quality of your product. We also recommend ensuring that no moisture remains on the metal fittings. The product should be stored hanging or appropriately stored. With proper handling and care, you will enjoy the usual HUNTER quality for a long time.
