The HUNTER Porto Tobacco/Cognac Collar is a dog collar. Eco-friendly, durable, luxurious – this collar embodies like no other the successful symbiosis of innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability. A pleasantly scented syrup is produced from the leaves of Mediterranean olive trees, a by-product of olive cultivation. This serves as the sole tanning agent for the robust cowhide leather of the PORTO series.

The patented production of the wet-green® OBE tanning agent is particularly gentle on people, animals, and the environment due to renewable raw materials. The tanning agent has received the Dermatest Very Good seal, the gold Cradle to Cradle certificate, and the platinum Material Health Certificate. The so-called Olive Leather® embodies the luxury of an ecologically sustainable lifestyle. The simple design of the collar emphasizes the unique character of the leather.

Thanks to its double-folded finish, PORTO fits almost imperceptibly around the dog's neck, like a second skin. The soft edges created by turning the leather are gentle on your four-legged friend's skin and coat. Measurement guide

Ideally, measure the dog's neck circumference (A) with a soft tape measure, placing it around the middle of the neck. The tape measure should be snug, but not restrict the dog. There should be a space of approximately a finger's width between the tape measure and the dog. The information on the adjustment of our collars and leashes usually overlaps slightly. This ensures that you don't necessarily need to use the first or last hole for an optimal fit.

If the neck circumference is at the upper end of the indicated measurements, you can also choose the next size up. This is particularly recommended for growing dogs. Collar sizes (e.g., size 30) refer to the total length of the material used, not including the buckle or pin closure. Regarding adjustment options, please note that the first value refers to the smallest adjustment option and the second value refers to the largest adjustment option.

Tips

When it comes to leather care, it is always strongly recommended to follow the adage: "Less is more." Most leathers are already greased and require only minimal greasing. A leather care oil or a light leather grease (e.g., from HUNTER) is ideal for this. If the product has become wet or damp, it is not advisable to dry the material quickly, for example on a radiator.

Dabbing and slow drying will help maintain the quality of your product. We also recommend ensuring that no moisture remains on the metal fittings. The product should be stored hanging or otherwise appropriately. With proper handling and care, you will be able to enjoy the usual HUNTER quality for a long time.
