HILL'S Prescription Diet k/d Kidney Care with Chicken is a complete dietetic feed to support renal function in cases of chronic or temporary renal insufficiency in adult cats. This food has a low phosphorus content and a reduced content of high-quality protein.

When cats suffer from kidney tissue damage, their kidneys cannot function properly. This condition is not reversible, but its progression can be slowed down. Dietetic foods for kidney diseases are designed to help reduce the workload on the kidneys, allowing them to function more efficiently. Cats with reduced kidney function may experience a loss of appetite and their food intake may decrease.

Hill’s nutritionists and veterinarians have developed Hill’s Prescription Diet k/d clinical nutrition to help protect your cat's vital kidney function, stimulate appetite, and increase food intake. These kibbles are made with chicken and have a delicious taste that your cat will love. In fact, Prescription Diet k/d is clinically proven nutrition to improve and extend quality of life.
