To support renal function in cases of chronic renal insufficiency and to reduce the formation of oxalate stones, KATTOVIT Kidney/Renal with Beef for cats 85g has been specially formulated to provide cats with a reduced protein content, thanks to the use of high-quality proteins in an easily digestible composition. High protein levels can have a detrimental effect on the kidneys. The decisive factor is the protein content in relation to the amount of energy.

With Kattovit KIDNEY/RENAL, unlike traditional foods, only about half of the energy is supplied by protein. The enrichment with potassium citrate has an alkalizing effect on the urine and can thus prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prophylaxis). Phosphorus and sodium levels are reduced.

Instructions for use of KATTOVIT Kidney/Renal with Beef for cats 85g:

• Cat's weight: 3kg: approx. 2-3 fresh pouches per day; 5kg: approx. 3-4 fresh pouches per day.
• It is recommended to seek veterinary advice before use or before extending the feeding period.
• Recommended feeding period: initially up to 6 months.
• Please provide water freely.
• The amount of food may vary depending on age, activity, and breed.

Meat and animal by-products (including 5% beef), cereals, by-products of plant origin, oils and fats, minerals (0.2% potassium citrate). Protein sources: 7% chicken, 12% liver, 4% poultry liver, 5% beef, 0.8% rice (cooked).
