Neutering changes a cat's metabolism. Royal Canin Sterilised 37 kibble has been specially formulated for this purpose. Its recipe has an adapted energy content. Neutered cats have lower energy requirements, which is why this kibble has a reduced energy content. A combination of highly digestible proteins (L.I.P. proteins) also helps to facilitate digestion and strengthen the intestinal flora. Dry food, on the other hand, respects the cat's natural behaviour of eating small amounts throughout the day.
